Net Neutrality is a principle that preserves the free and open internet.
Net Neutrality means no discrimination. Net Neutrality prevents Internet providers from blocking, speeding up or slowing down Web content based on its source, ownership or destination.
Who wants to get rid of Net Neutrality?
The worlds largest telephone and cable companies - including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner.
They want to be Internet gatekeepers, deciding which web sites go fast or slow and which won't load at all.
Why is Net Neutrality important?
The internet is one of the only places left where anything goes.
If net neutrality was gone, places like 4chan would most likely be shut down.
